About Ashlee Wisdom

My name is Ashlee Wisdom, and I am a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I am a living testimony of what God can do in anyone and everyone’s life.

I am a mother to two beautiful children and a wife to an amazing husband whom the Lord truly blessed me with. But I haven’t always walked in the light. I once lived in the world — drinking, smoking, clubbing, and chasing things that could never fill the emptiness inside. I was headed down a path of destruction until the Lord snatched me out of the kingdom of darkness and set my feet on a solid foundation.

Now, I am here to guide and encourage fellow believers through biblical truth and real-life testimonies — teaching spiritually through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Every story, every lesson, and every encouragement I share is rooted in Scripture and the transforming power of God.

If He did it for me, He can do it for you.

My Encounter with Jesus — How Everything Changed

Its all started with my powerful encounter with Jesus, an encounter that you too can experience in your own life.

I’ve always believed in God, but I grew up in a very religious way. What do I mean by that? I was told I could live however I wanted, sin as much as I wanted, and still make it to Heaven. But oh boy, Jesus revealed the truth to me in 2021.

One day, I picked up my Bible with a hunger to know Him. I didn’t just want to “believe,” I wanted to know who Jesus really was. That week, the gift of wisdom fell upon me. My eyes were opened, I could truly see! I remember having such a spiritual awakening that I said to myself, “There’s so much more to this than I was ever taught.” In that moment, I realized religion had blinded me, and I had been deceived my whole life.

Shortly after, I felt a deep hunger in my spirit to find a church that Jesus Himself would walk into. I prayed and waited, refusing to settle for empty religion. Months later, I received an invite to the launch service of Awakening Generations Church. The very first day I walked in, I knew in my spirit, THIS IS IT! This was the place I had been praying for.

It was there that I had my true encounter with Jesus. For the first time, I saw the Holy Spirit moving freely. I witnessed miracles with my own eyes, people healed, delivered, and touched by the presence of God. I remember thinking, “This is the church I’ve been looking for. Just don’t let them touch me!” because honestly, it was so different from the traditional churches I grew up in that I was afraid. But fear is a liar! The devil will do anything to stop you from experiencing Jesus.

That day, Jesus walked into the room. He was healing, setting people free, and lifting burdens off His people. It was beautiful, powerful, and life-changing. And as a side note, this church launched on the very day I first attended. The next day, they called me and asked me to serve as lead greeter. From that moment on, I became part of this amazing move of God.

So before you question miracles, signs, and wonders, just know, I was there. I saw it. I lived it. And it was real.

After a while, I started experiencing panic attacks, something I had struggled with for years. No matter what I tried, I could never seem to get free. Deep down, I knew this was an attack from the enemy, trying to pull me away from my church, my family in Christ, and everything I was experiencing with Jesus. Then, I felt a HEAVY pull to get baptized. I remember saying these exact words: “I will drown all these thoughts and feelings. I will no longer go through this anymore.”

In that moment, I walked over to the baptism tank and got in line. My heart was racing, the panic grew worse, I was shaking, and I almost didn’t go through with it. But the very moment I put one foot into that water, everything stopped. Every attack, every anxious thought, gone. A complete peace fell upon my mind, body, and soul. As I stood there, I began forgiving others, releasing people and things from my past, and fully accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

When I went down into the water and came back up, I gasped loudly because I felt FREEDOM. I came out of that water a completely different person. From that day forward, I wasn’t just a believer, I became a disciple of Jesus Christ.

I am living proof that there is so much more than dead religion. Jesus is alive. He is still healing, still casting out devils, and still moving in power today!

My encouragement to you :

Don’t settle for religion. Don’t let the enemy steal your true encounter with Jesus. Choose relationship. Choose discipleship. Choose freedom. Step into the fullness of Christ, and take back everything the devil has tried to steal from you.

It all begins with a vessels willingness to allow the Lord to plant the seed.

1 Corinthians 3:7

So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
