Healing With Your Heavenly Father
Healing Requires Faith: Trusting God Through the Process
Healing is the very topic that is going to require you to step into faith and trust God with all your heart.
Let’s talk about this and break some chains off TODAY.
I have been around many MIGHTY women of God who are discouraged by the healing process. So I would love to share with you:
My experience on this journey
Abba Father’s heart on why healing is important for us as His children
My Experience with Healing
Let me start off by being completely honest.
When I walked into my healing process, it was painful, messy, and overwhelming. It felt like my life was all over the place. I didn’t know how to talk, walk, or even act—I was a mess.
I didn’t understand what was going on or how I even got to where I was.
Needless to say, it was through the very prayers I prayed daily. I wanted to be more holy. I asked God to take everything out of me—everything hidden in my heart, even the things I couldn’t see. I even prayed to cleanse my generational bloodline.
Well… when those prayers started to come to pass, I found myself in a healing season.
And it was not easy.
I’m not going to sit here and sugarcoat the process and say it was rainbows and butterflies—that was not the case.
What Started to Surface
During this process, things began to rise up:
Approval of man
Rejection
Feeling empty
Feeling lost
When all of this started to come up, I was spiraling on the inside—trying to hold it together while feeling confused about why I was even going through this.
I felt like I did something wrong. Maybe I was the problem.
All the lies of the enemy tried to come in and confuse me.
However, I stood my ground.
I fasted.
I prayed.
I worshiped.
I cried.
I reached out for help.
I processed everything that was happening.
And I started to accept that I needed to trust God.
This is where I truly learned how to walk by faith and not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
What Healing Looked Like
During this healing process, there were tears, pain, and confusion—but there was also:
Peace
Joy
A deeper intimacy with the Father
I began to get rooted in Him. I started connecting with His heart in a deeper way.
I’m writing this to tell you that even though the healing season exposes the hidden things in your heart—and yes, it hurts, and yes, there can be fear in facing it—this is the very season you need to walk by faith.
Because this is the season where you get free.
Free from the torment you no longer want to live with.
Free to see yourself through the eyes of the Father.
Free to walk confidently, knowing you belong to the Most High God.
What Came After
When I came out of this season, my love for the Father deepened.
I was able to see myself for who He called me to be.
I finally gave myself permission to be exactly who God created me to be—
His daughter.
I’m grateful for this season. I’m happy I took this path, and most importantly, I’m blessed because Jesus died for me to experience this kind of freedom.
If I hadn’t gone through it:
My heart wouldn’t have softened more
My eyes wouldn’t have seen the beauty of the Father’s love
I wouldn’t be able to help the next sister who needs a helping hand
Jeremiah 33:6
“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”
God’s Heart for Your Healing
Jesus died for your complete healing.
His beating was for you to be healed—physically and emotionally.
Inner healing is heart surgery. This is where the Lord replaces your hardened heart with a heart of flesh.
Ezekiel 36:26
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh".
Now let’s talk about the Father’s heart.
I want you to picture this…
Imagine anyone in your life now that you are close too like a son, daughter, spouse, mother, or father who is broken, hurt, and wounded. You know they are in pain. You know they need help—but they don’t want it.
They say, “I’m fine.”
“I’m healed.”
But you can clearly see the pain showing up as:
Depression
Bitterness
Envy
Jealousy
People pleasing
It has become part of their everyday life, and it grieves you to see them like that.
You pray that they would get the help they need.
Well, brothers and sisters, this is how the Father sees us—but with an even deeper desire to set us free.
He does not want you to hold onto that pain any longer.
He doesn’t want you to suffer in silence.
He wants you free but you have free will to make your choice. It’s going to take your motivation. God already gave us the blood, now we have to take our place.
He sent His one and only Son to die for YOU so that you can experience His goodness, His love, His peace, His grace, and His mercy.
The true living God is still moving today, and His desire for your life is for you to have hope and a future—not a life full of pain and trauma.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Step Into What God Has for You
It’s time to step into ALL that God has for you.
It’s going to take faith to step into the unknown and allow the Lord to work on you—but you are in perfect hands.
Make Him your safe place.
Make Him your go-to.
Make Him your stronghold.
Psalm 27:1
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?”
A Real Truth
I’m not here to tell you it’s going to feel good.
I’m not here to tell you it’s going to be easy.
That was never promised.
But I am here to tell you that you are missing out on something beautiful if you avoid healing.
You are missing:
Intimacy with God
Boldness
Authority
Confidence
Knowing who you are in Him
Walking in true freedom
Aren’t you tired of the same patterns?
Aren’t you tired of the pain rising back up?
Aren’t you tired of the devil using the pain against you?
Let’s be honest—it’s exhausting.
And your way isn’t working.
You will continue to stay stuck; until you are ready to take your righteous place as a Daughter and Son of the most HIGH GOD!
A Prayer to break the chains!
If you’re ready to begin, start here:
Heavenly Father, I want to thank You for Your Son who died on the cross for my sins. Lord, I thank You that His beating was so I can be reconnected to You and embrace the complete healing You have for me. I thank You, God, that the blood is more than enough to cover every trauma I have experienced in my life. Today, God, I make You Lord over my mind, will, and emotions. Today, God, I choose to let You into the areas of my heart that You have not entered into yet. Today, God, I let go and give it all over to You.I repent, Lord, for trying to heal on my own and for leaning on my own understanding. I repent for holding onto any bitterness, hatred, or unforgiveness. I ask You, God, to help me and strengthen me as I step into the unknown. God, You do not give me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. You are near to the brokenhearted and those who are crushed in spirit.Today, Lord, I release myself from all trauma, and I ask You to cleanse my soul. Help me, God, to walk in everything You have for me in this life. Father, today I choose You. I choose Jesus, and I renounce and denounce all ungodly soul ties, ungodly habits, and behaviors in the name of Jesus. Father, I give You permission to rule over my heart.
I trust You, God.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
